Some pretty pictures!

This past weekend we went up to Columbia, CA for Sarah's "field trip". We went up Sunday morning with the O'Dells. The DeCarlos went up Saturday and we met them when we got up there, the Singletons went up Sunday afternoon and we met the Goldsmiths up there Monday. Anyways, the O'Dells, DeCarlos and us went to this place and it was like the prettiest place I've EVER been! Seriously! It' was so stinkin' pretty! I mean green, and flowers, and ADORABLE!!! Here's just a couple pictures, I took like a hundred! Dude, how could I resist! Oh, and this place was HUGE!!! I just asked my dad, it was called Ironstone Vineyard. Yes, it was a vineyard, but I honestly think it was my favorite place I've ever been!! It had this creek that was gorgeous and a path all over the whole place, and this little hike, and a huge outdoor amphitheater and seriously, there's not even words to describe it! That would be a perfect heaven, although I know heaven will be a whole lot better, but it would suit me! :) Oh! And it had this pond/lake thing and Omygoodness, I could go on forever on how perfect it was! Well, write more later!

My play tonight!

Well, tonight I'm in my play with the awesome Valley Oaks Drama Club! Woo hoo! Last night we had a performance and it went wonderful and everybody did a GREAT job! Seriously, I can't believe that this time has come! It's all going to be over with in just a couple of hours! Anyways, I'm pretty bored so that's why I'm finally posting. New topic....Today I had my second soccer game with F.U.N. sports(F.U.N. stands for Faith Unity & Nurture). Anyways, it's like a non-competitive organization that is just for fun. But some people on my team are pretty competitive and pushy. Anyways, there is only one other team in the same age category so we play them every Sat. We won last week 1-0 and this week 5-0. Man, I feel extremely bad for the other team, especially for the goalie. Today, on the other team, there is this one really good forward, well, he's actually pretty good everywhere, but....they put him in goalie, and we kept scoring on him. It totally wasn't his falt at all though, because their defenders were not playing very good and it's almost impossible for the goalie to block it when it's just him and the forward on the opposing team. I mean, he did GREAT and blocked tons of MY shots(and everybody elses), but I know, from my past expericences, that it's really discouraging when like 3 ball get by you, so I kept telling him that he was doing great, but seriously, I feel so bad for them! Anyways, I'm spilling out my whole life that's actually pretty uneventful and not worth your time, so when something more exciting happens, I'll have to write more! I'll also post pictures from our play in just a couple of days, and hopefully some soccer pics. too! Tomorrow I'm going out of town for a couple of days for my sister's field trip, so I'll post them when I get back! -write later! :)

Acting!!! :)

Well, my interest in acting has been for quite sometime. It started out when I was...hum...probably about 4, standing on stage at our Church singing in Christmas programs. The most recent program was at Stars Dinner Theater singing in a Christmas Play! All the shows between go from, being a pirate (spaghetti) in Pirates of Parody, to starring as a girl in Honesty(I don't remember my name), to being a Capulet (Bobbi) in Romeo and Winifred, to starring at Miss Collins(the dorky teacher) in School House Rock(& singing a solo), to being Hark (the main character) in Hark the Harold Angels(and singing a solo, for the first time!), and MANY MANY more! -those were just some of my favorites! I absolutely LOVE acting in every play possible, and hope to be in TONS more. Right now I'm working on a show that we're going to be performing in the end of April, and it's going very well and it's going to be one of the best shows that I've ever done! :P It's goin' to be very funny as well as a great performance! The dates are April 24th and 25th and you should totally come! It's a contest for whoever sells the most tickets...so buy them from me plz! They're only 2 bucks!
One of the things that I like about being in shows is dancing(and fighting). I really enjoyed how in School House Rock, we had a choreographer come and teach us dances in the dance room and omgoodness, it was SO very fun! The dances turned out awesome and we all had a blast learning them! :) Play practices are like the funnest things ever! gtg

Reading!

I've finally found my interest in reading! It took 13 years though. I used to read 2 chapters of a book, and have no clue what I just read! Finally, in the past couple of months I read this really good book, and it was the first in a series...so then I read the other five books in like 2 weeks! My mom got me a bunch of other books from Valley Oaks and now, I'm totally into reading! It's crazy, nobody thinks of me as a reader but now I read all the time in my spare time! I've discovered that I read best listening to my i-pod though...kinda weird, but it drowns out all the background noise and voices. Anyway, I don't know why I'm posting about me reading, but I don't have anything else to talk about...so, the main point of this post is to learn that I love reading! idk, gtg, write more later!

-In the picture, I wasn't very happy that my dad was taking the picture so I stuck my tongue out and I look very dorky!!! My hair is all over the chair and WOW! That's a LAME pic. of me!!

Skiing/Snowboarding!!!

Ok, so yesterday we went up to Sierra Summit with bunches of friendies. I decided to try snowboarding for the first time...Wow! People make it look SO easy!! I took this lesson(with Timmy and Thomas, bc they were doing it for the first time too!) for an hour and a half. I barely did anything. ...and they didn't really teach me anything. So, that didn't help that much, but it definitely got me started! Then I went up the magic carpet and then after I could go down without falling I upgraded my self to the bunny hill. woo hoo!
The bunny hill wasn't that much of a challenge!! I went down with Katie and Megan and Sarah S...so much fun!! One really hard thing about the bunny hill was the rope lift thing. Timmy and Jesse were both left footed so it was super hard for them and they kept flipping over it and then getting all tangled up, very funny! But I still fell down tons going down. The bunny hill was part of what made my day a blast cause I got to hang out with MY friends! (instead of my brothers)
My dad finally convinced me to go down half of Academy and Oh My Goodness....It took me like 10 min. to get down the first little slope thingy!!! My arms were crazy tired!! (from getting up...) My dad was like, didn't they teach you how to turn and stop in your lessons. Nope, they didn't! So I was all on my own. I didn't really know how to turn or anything so I kept getting stuck in the soft snow and I couldn't get out!!! That was such a challenge! But I got back up and kept going and made it down the rest of the Academy. Fortunately, I kept improving down the rest of the hill. One thing I like about falling on the snowboarding is, it's normally super easy to get up! I don't like falling forward, like when you catch the front of your board and it just whacks you forward and you go straight down. That's no fun! The good thing is, it doesn't hurt very much. I went down the bunny hill a couple more times and then went down Academy and a little ways down we found some friends! So I went with them and rode back up with Jesse. Then Jesse, Luke, and Jacob finally convinced me to go down Fire Bowl, YIKES!!! I was snowplowing like all the way down(which took me a while to learn how to do)...They were all skiing, so I was a bit behind them. (Jesse switched to skiing after about 3 or 4 hours of snowboarding) I was totally surprised bc I only fell down once and (fortunately) that was a easy fall and get back up! But it took me a while to get down, cause I went really slow.
For those of you that have been down Academy, you know the long straight part at the end??? Well I had to walk almost that whole thing bc I couldn't get enough speed to make it all the way, bc I was a scaredy cat and had to slow down!! Anyways, I had a total BLAST snowboarding and will totally do it again next time! ...it was so much fun!

-I forgot to say, I'm right footed for those of you who want to know... I know I'm weird!
-Today I'm CRAZY sore in my arms! My legs aren't that sore but my arms hurt to do anything. Opening the frig was the worst thing I've done today!
-I'll put pictures of us on here is a couple of days!

Tennis!

Today I'm going to write a little bit of why I love tennis! I don't have any pics. of me playing tennis, sorry! Anyways, I've played tennis for 3 1/2 years now. I started out horrible and have improved a little since! Every Friday morning we meet for a hour and a half and our 3 awesome coaches have us do a bunch of drills. There's three groups of kids and we rotate so we're with all the coaches. There's this "challenge" where you can "challenge" somebody in a different group and if you win you get to go into their group and they have to go into yours. To "challenge" somebody you have to win three matches against them. Katie and I "challenged" two people in the highest group and beat um so now were in the highest group! Katie is the only other girl in that group so when she's not there, I totally don't like it...cause I'm the only girl!!! I'm not close to the best in my group, and it's cool because then I have a hard time beating people in the drills! I always look forward to going to tennis on Fridays and I'm very bummed when they cancel it(because of the rain). I love tennis and I hope to continue playing it for a very long time!

Skiing!

Like 2 or 3 weeks ago my family (except my mom) went skiing up at Sierra Summit! We had a blast. It wasn't that crowded. It was pretty nice weather up there. At about 2:00 it started getting pretty chilly and we put on another layer of clothes and were fine. A bit later in the day it started getting a bit more frigged and we were a little cold. It started to hail(except it was like really small)! It was like totally awesome cause when we were going down the slopes the hail was like slapping us in the face. I absolutely loved it! The other really neat thing was when we were going up the ski lifts the snowflakes were landing on our pants and we could look at all of the different shapes and sizes and I was in awe bc all of them were different! (duh) But it's so cool to look at all the stuff that God created and EVERYTHING is an individual! Anyways, I look really cheesy in these pics. so ignore me! :p
-Amy

I've gone skiing about 7 or 8 times, I love every trip to the snow and love skiing! When we go, in about a month, I'm going to try snowboarding (for the first time)...if you have any tips, at all, please let me know! :)

I had a fantastic Christmas and loved every single bit of it! I am so thankful for all the wonderful gifts that I got! I got some clothes, games, shoes and lots more! I luv all of it! Our family was blessed with so much "stuff"! Here are just a couple of pictures of us on Christmas. We all have sleepy faces and look, lets say...not our best. It was so nice to take a brake from school and all the busy activities. It was also nice to have Grandma with us and Andrew back from college. We had family over for a wonderful Christmas dinner, cooked by my mom :)
Thanks mom!

My awesome family!

Hey! I was just browsing through some pictures and I came across this awesome picture! It was taken at the beach w/ our cousins (last summer) and we were just walking around and looking at a bunch of different shops. We found this extremely cool stand! It had like hundreds of different sweet sunglasses for sale! So, we all chose our favorite for the pic. My smile is really lame and dorky looking but the shades are totally me! jk...Anyways, the person in the bright blue shirt and huge strange sunglasses, is my cousin Jesse. John is my cousin with the super curly blond hair and gray shirt. My biggest bro. is the one with the brown straight hair and and Timmy is the cool one to the far right. (and the close up picture) Anyways, idk why I'm putting this picture on here but, I absolutely love pictures! More later!

Soccer

I'm going to choose one of my favorite sports, one at a time, and tell you a little bit about me and why I absolutely love the sport! Today, I'm choosing soccer. I totally love soccer! It's the best sport ever invented! I've played soccer for 9 years now! And I'm 13 years old, you can do the math to figure out how old I was when I started! Anyways, I started playing with YMCA and played with them for, I think, 4 years. Then I went and played with AYSO, and I've been playing there for 5 years. I think my best experience was this past fall. My team, The Jokers, were so awesome! They were all so friendly and I felt like I'd been friends with all of them for years! It was so hard to say goodbye to all of them at the end of the year party. When we met for the party, the coach had the best announcement that I've ever heard before. He said that our team moves on to regionals! We won every game throughout the whole season! We were excited to here that we moved onto playoffs(which comes before the regionals)! We won all three games on the Saturday and moved onto playing on Sunday! We lost the one game on Sunday, to the team that we beat once during the season and once the day before, which meant we took second at AYSO. There happened to be an opening which allowed us to be able to move onto the regionals, unfortunately our super good forward wasn't able to make it and neither was one of our other really good forwards and goalies! So for a couple of quarters a game we had to have one of our not so good forwards play forward. I play goalie, so it was a disadvantage to me cause I always play 1/2 game as goalie and now I had to play 3 quarters of goalie. I personally absolutely dislike goalie and don't know why they put me in it. I would much rather play forward or midfield. But of course, those are the two positions that I play the least. I basically play every position, which is very fun cause you get to move all over the place. I'm getting really off track..... So we went to the regionals and had a blast there. We totally acted like a whole bunch of sisters who absolutely loved each other. We did quite well in the games, considering we were without our two main forwards! We all miss each other tons! I've always had GREAT experiences with my teams and can't wait for fall to come around so I can play more soccer! The only thing that I don't really like about soccer is; I have bunions (which is a foot problem thingy). So it hurts to run for a long time, or do short sprints or whatever, but...I've decided that it's well worth the pain! I love every practice and every single moment I have with my team and pray that I'll never forget the great times I've had playing soccer! This past Fall I volunteered to be the assistant coach for my little sister, Sarah's team! I had a blast working with them and I will never forget what a great time with them I had! I love soccer and hope that all my kiddos (if I even have any) will play soccer! It's completely the best sport ever!
More l8ter!

leopard loven ham

Well, you might be wondering how in the world I got my name for this blog. I actually got the leopard part because I totally love leopards! There the awesomest animal God created! I like other animals tons too though! The Ham part, doesn't really make any since at all. Erika and I, the super cool friend that moved to Arkansas, have these really lame nick names for each other, Ham and Cheese. And Leopard Loven Cheese, didn't make very much since at all so I ended up putting Ham instead. Not that that makes any more since at all. But, I know I could of come up with a better name, I was so excited that I actually was making a blog, that I didn't care about the name at all. Anyways, I know I chose a really dorky and lame name, but that's kinda how I came up with my blog name.
Write more later!

An update on my Family!

Well, I'm finally on my blog again and I decided that I should update you on my family again. My little sister is 9 and can't wait to turn 10 in early April! I'm 13 years and can't wait for drama practices! I enjoy every single one of them! I just found out who I am in our spring play and totally love my part! My older brother, Timmy, is 14 and attending Ridgeview High School. For his first time at public high school and has decided that there is tons of very strange people in this world. My oldest brother, Andrew, who is 18, loves going to The Masters College down in Santa Clareta. He absolutely loves sharing The Bible to other people. Actually, right now he is at the Mall, talking to random people and sharing the Gospel with them! My mom and dad...I don't really think that they would like me to tell you how old they are so I'll leave that out. Well, I don't have much else to tell you so, write more later!

My Friend

Hey again! I just said good bye to one of my bestest friends! Erika. She's moving to Arkansas. I've know her since she was 1. It was very hard for our family to say good bye since our two family are practically one family. We do like everything together. She has an e-mail and we write a lot but it's still very hard. Gtg to go shopping!

I been so busy lately I haven't had much extra time. I have play practice 4 days a week and the other day flute class. Saturday I do chores and never have time for the comp and Sunday I go to church and then always end up having a friend over afterwards. So....thats mainly my life. 2 Of the play practice are for School House Rock. Those are on Mondays and Wednesdays. But after this week there will be no more of those. Because are performance's are Tuesday evening and Wednesday evening. I am really excited about that because I'm starring as the teacher. The other 2 days are for the other school play, Pirates of Parody. Witch is also going to be a great play too because my brother wrote the script and is starring a Captain Jack Chickadee. I am really excited about these plays! Friday Flute classes are every Friday and my teacher is Mrs. Laybourn(Jennifer and Robin's mom). I have almost been doing them for 2 years. In 3 weeks is are end of the year performance where we have a little recital for are parents. I have a friend coming over in a few minutes so I don't have much time left to type. Ok, I have to gtg because my bro wants the comp. I'll try to get on more often and maybe get some more pictures of me. Bye bye!
